"Unfinished Business" is an upcoming, original TV series based on the novel of the same name, written by local Flagler Beach author Tim Baker and published by Blindogg Books. The pilot episode "Kilroy Was Here" is set to film late spring 2021 in Flagler, Volusia and St Johns counties, Florida directed by Hollywood veteran Alan J. Levi starring Sondra Currie, Margot Demeter, Annie Gaybis, John Byner and Michael Laboska. For thirteen years, Meg Seabury has prepared corpses at the Peaceful Slumber Funeral Parlor. When she prepares the corpse of a World War II veteran something extraordinary happens. She becomes aware of a task that had been weighing heavily on the man’s mind and she feels compelled to finish it. Her next corpse is that of a woman killed in a car crash while driving to see her suicidal brother. Meg soon finds herself determined to give him the will to live. Each new corpse brings an intriguing mission and Meg is powerless to stop it. It’s a bizarre curse until Meg realizes that she is the last hope for these souls to rest in peace. When she embalms the corpse of a sociopath whose last thought was of the murder he had to commit, Meg is compelled to be the one to follow through on the task. While investigating the murder, Detective David Steere feels something isn’t right. Now he must figure out if he’s tracked down a murderer, a victim… or something he can’t explain.
